wow, it was a great eye opening movie. I didn't know about the stop loss thing until i watched this movie. fk the government. How can this policy be justified? my God!!!!!
soldiers join the army voluntarily and they should have the option of leaving the army after their stint without ANY clause. This is totally BS.

It's not just the president at the end of the table, it's actually the bureaucrats who have been sponsoring all the election campaigns and stuff like that. They're the actual policy makers behind the curtains. There policies are based on the ethics of $$$ and $$$monopoly, not on the concerns of 'global peace' which they use as a trademark and dupe the people and the world. Its an axiom that unless the root cause is addressed, there will be no end to such 'wars', or rather 'attacks', as bombardments on tents do not suit that description. We cannot and should not allow lives to be lost for the benefit of just some people or just some organisations. Rather than sending our sons, brothers, fathers and friends out to war, we need to address "why are we at a point where we need to do this". Maybe then all the blood that has already been spilt will make some sense and fulfill some purpose.
A movie is meant to provoke thoughts.

I loved Stop-Loss. It was a great movie, and everyone need to see it. I have several family members who have faught in Wars, including this war. Like in the movie, they are dealing with emotional bagage that we didn't expect. They are shell shocked, and dropping a book on the wood floors cause them to re-live combat in the war. Like Brandon Knight said, F### the President, I feel the same way, he isn't lossing family members in this War we are....
